Service Station Redevelopment
Emerald, Central Highlands
Project Scope: Comprehensive planning and surveying for the Pearl Energy service station redevelopment, providing a compliant pathway to transform multiple lots into a modern, high-functioning fuel and convenience facility at the western gateway to Emerald.
Client: Pearl Energy
Project Duration: 2023–2025
Pearl Energy advanced plans for a new service station on the western entrance to Emerald, positioned on the corner of Dundas and Short Streets. The redevelopment forms part of a broader upgrade to fuel and convenience offerings in the region, with the proposal designed to deliver a modern facility that improves access, circulation and site functionality at a key gateway into the township. The project required a coordinated planning response to address land‑use compatibility, vehicle movement patterns, signage design and the consolidation of multiple existing land parcels.
Murray & Associates delivered the full planning and surveying scope between 2023 and 2025, preparing the Material Change of Use - Service Station application, Operational Works for an Advertising Device, and Reconfiguring a Lot (4 lots into 2 lots) to rationalise the site. Our surveying team completed the detail survey, boundary identification and subdivision survey plan to support both design development and approval requirements. Together, these inputs provided a clear and compliant pathway for Pearl Energy to progress a contemporary service station redevelopment at a prominent entry point to Emerald.
